Family Planning Program

Family planning is a preventive health service that provides quality, low cost, and easily accessible
reproductive health care to women during their reproductive years. Family Planning services are always
confidential. Coos County Family Health Services provides clients with the information and consultation
on:


• Birth control
• Pap smears
• Breast exams
• Pregnancy tests
• Immunizations
• Blood work
• HIV counseling & testing
• Diagnosis & treatment of sexually transmitted infections
• Sexuality education & counseling.

Family planning does not discriminate on basis of age, sex, race, color, religion, ethnicity, income, marital
status, number of pregnancies, or contraceptive choices. Teens are welcome and can receive confidential
care.

A donation of $75 provides a teen with information about how to prevent unplanned pregnancy and their first month of birth control pills.
