Giving
Giving
Giving comes in many ways. Your donations are vital in helping us meet our mission of providing high quality, affordable, primary preventive health care to all regardless of social or economic status in a fiscally responsible manner.
We are very grateful for the long standing support we have received from our friends in the community. With the help of your contributions, we can continue to provide the highest level of health care possible – and all so close to home. Sponsoring events and serving on our Board of Directors are also invaluable ways to give CCFHS and key to the success of our organization.
Ways to make a gift…
Secure online giving by credit card.
Cash
Gifts can be made by cash, check or credit card and mailed to Ken Gordon, CEO at Coos County Family Health Services, 133 Pleasant Street, Berlin, NH, 03570.
Securities
The benefits of a gift of securities are two-fold. The full market value of the asset is usually tax deductible and capital gains taxes may be avoided.
Tangible Assets, Real Estate, Personal Property
Assets of real estate and other personal property can be contributed as provided by law.
Bequest (through your will)
A bequest is a gift that comes to CCFHS upon your death. It is flexible in that your will can be augmented or revised at any time during your lifetime. A bequest is fully deductible for estate tax purposes. A bequest can take many forms:
- A specific dollar amount
- Specified assets, such as securities, real estate or tangible personal property
- Retirement Account Assets
- A residuary bequest in which CCFHS receives all or a percentage of the remainder of your estate
- A contingent bequest in which CCFHS becomes the beneficiary in the event the named beneficiary is unable to accept the bequest

- Behavioral Health
- Oral Health

Our Board of Directors is comprised of members of the community who volunteer to serve 3-year terms and then some. More than 50% of our board members are patients, making this truly a consumer board. They govern the CCFHS organization. If you would be interested in serving on our board, please contact Ken Gordon, CCFHS CEO at 603-752-3669.
